Yes. Just Pets with Jocelyn is fully insured through Pet Care Insurance's annual policy, which includes coverage for pet sitting, pet daycare, and house sitting services. The policy provides general liability coverage, as well as protection specific to animals in Jocelyn's care, custody, or control, and coverage for unexpected veterinary expenses if an incident occurs during a visit. Proof of insurance is available upon request for any client who would like to see it before booking.

Jocelyn's number one priority is making sure clients' animals are comfortable with her before providing any services. Before any dog walks, drop-in visits, or overnight sitting begins, Jocelyn schedules a free meet-and-greet with a prospective client and their animals, typically at the client's home. This gives the owner and their animals a chance to get to know her and make sure they're a good fit for each other. It's also a good time to go over routines, feeding instructions, and any special needs so Jocelyn can provide the best possible care from day one.

Jocelyn does not publish set pricing, since costs vary depending on the services requested, number of pets, and length of visits. When potential clients reach out by email, Jocelyn will provide a personalized cost estimate based on their specific needs. From there, she will go over available payment options and work with the client to find a method that's convenient for both parties. For overnight bookings longer than 5 days, half of the total cost is due upfront to confirm the reservation, with the remaining balance due on the last day of the booking.

Jocelyn is committed to honoring every booking and providing the coverage she has agreed to. In the rare event that illness or a personal emergency prevents her from covering a scheduled visit, she will reach out to affected clients as soon as possible to let them know and, whenever possible, help them find alternate coverage.

For overnight sitting bookings, Jocelyn requires at least 2 to 3 weeks’ notice for cancellations. Because overnight stays involve reserving an extended block of time, last-minute cancellations make it difficult to rebook and directly impact her income. Cancellations made inside the 2- to 3-week window will be charged 50% of the total booking cost. Jocelyn appreciates clients' understanding of this policy and is happy to discuss individual circumstances when they arise.
